Who are you and where did you come from?
I am Patricia Rose, and the stork brought me from Virginia to Kentucky.

Where do you want to be in 10 years?
Hopefully, in exactly the same place I am now - with the husband I love, a house full of animals. Oh, only I'd like to be a moderately successful novelist by then.

What is the biggest mistake you've made in your life?
I don't really think in terms of mistakes as much as experiences, and every experience I've had, even the ones that seemed tragic at the time, have made me who I am today. So, I'll have to defer this question. (See how nicely I weasled out of that?)

What would you do for a Klondike bar?
Nothing. Now, for a REESE'S CUP .......

Best Elevator Pitch For Latest Book. 300 words or less
When the black ships drop from the clouds, billions die. The weapons are silent, the effects, lethal. Nations fall. Humanity crumbles. Their mission is simple: seed the earth. Feed their creatures. Harvest the crops. The war is over before it begins. Or is it? Iron Mike is a Science Fiction Lite / Coming-of-Age story that takes place during an apocalyptic alien invasion of Earth. Seventeen-year-old Mike Sanderlin must get his nine-year-old sister to the safety of a refugee center on Fort Knox. Along the way, he picks up some strays, so his responsibilities increase exponentially. He must make some heartbreaking decisions. Along the way, he journeys from a boy to a man, from a Resistance fighter to a hero. The novel is heavily character-driven and takes place largely in Louisville, Shepherdsville, and Fort Knox, Kentucky. There is a romantic subplot in addition to the main story.
